Rossi sends message to fans!
Injured reigning seven time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi has sent the following message from his home in Italy, where the Fiat Yamaha rider is currently convalescing after breaking his leg at the Italian MotoGP round three week's ago.
"Three weeks have passed since the accident and two since I was discharged from hospital, and I am very happy about how my recuperation is progressing. I am feeling a lot better and I'm starting to live a semi-normal life again, although for a completely ‘normal' life I will have to wait until I'm back on my bike!

Valentino Rossi deciding on German Grand Prix
Valentino Rossi will undergo a series of x-rays on Wednesday before making a decision on his involvement in this weekend's German grand prix.
The Fiat Yamaha rider was back in action today at the Brno circuit in the Czech Republic as he stepped up his recovery from a compound leg fracture with another outing on a YZF-R1 machine provided by the Yamaha World Superbike team.

Rossi Suggests Earlier Start Time at Qatar
Rossi, along with Rizla Suzuki rider Loris Capirossi, asked Dorna Sports, the rights holder of MotoGP, to consider an earlier start time due to accidents that occurred under the floodlights at Losail International Circuit during pre-season testing. Reports have said that during the night, moisture comes to the surface of the track around turn 2, causing slippery conditions.

Double podium sees Fiat Yamaha seal triple crown in Valencia as Edwards scores fourth and Spies seventh place.
Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo finished second and third in the season-ending Grand Prix of Valencia this afternoon, the ninth time the pair have shared the podium this season. It ensured that Yamaha won the Triple Crown for the second year running after Rossi took the Riders’ title, Fiat Yamaha the Teams’ and Yamaha the Constructors’. Today’s result also sealed Lorenzo the runner-up spot in the Championship in just his second year in MotoGP. Between them the Italian and the Spaniard have taken ten wins and a further seventeen podiums, Yamaha’s most successful year ever in MotoGP.

Valencia GP - Pedrosa first
Dani Pedrosa of Spain won the season-ending Valencia Grand Prix on Sunday ahead of newly crowned world champion Valentino Rossi.
Jorge Lorenzo finished third to clinch the runner-up spot in the overall standings.
Casey Stoner, who won here last year, had been due to start from pole but was forced to retire after falling on the warm-up lap and high siding his bike while waving to the crowd.
